Books:

SHADOWMANCER(G.P.Taylor):
Interesting.  But, not a quick read.  Takes a long time.

Thomas, the orphaned boy, meets Raphah, a boy who has come from a far away land(haha!). 
The "Dumurrel" stole something from Raphah's people, Raphah has to steal it back.  Thomas, and his friend Kate, decide to help Raphah, but - of course - regret it later.  I personally hate Raphah.  He was O.K., in the beginning, but he said something I didn't like.  He's mean to dogs.  -.-  So, read this book! UNLESS, you like dogs.  Then, you still could read it, just hope for Raphah to die :D

JUST ELLA(Margaret Peterson Haddix):
Great book! I finished this one in a few hours. 

The author's version of "Cinderella", only this one doesn't have any kind of Fairy Godmothers, or magic.  It's a story about a commoner girl who ends up with the prince! Then she finds out she doesn't really love the prince.  It's a great story, and a quick read.  Personally, I find quick reads more interesting.  In books that take a long time to read the story is drawn out, and it kind of annoys me! You should DEFFINATELY read this! Great author, Margaret Peterson Haddix.  You should read all of her books.  Yup, all of them.  Every single one.  Well?  Are you looking for her books?  NO?!?! You'd better start. o.0


RAVEN SUMMER(David Almond):
Another fantastic book, from a favorite author of mine: David Almond.  :)

Liam, and his friend Max are digging in Liam's yard.  They see a raven, and end up following it.  The raven leads them to a baby! They bring the baby to Liam's house, and the baby ends up in a foster home.  Then, the baby goes back to Liam's house and lives with them.  Another pretty quick read.  What I really like about quick reads is that I can read them, and just keep reading them until they're done, and I don't have to stop! In longer reads it's more difficult to keep concentrated.  GREAT BOOK, GREAT AUTHOR, GREAT READ! So far....... >_> Quote(:D):

The Books I'm writing!! *IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER!!*

Alphabetical order..... Haha yeah right! Anyway.  These are the series of books I'm writing! The descriptions are about the first books, though I am not adding the book titles.  The author name is going to be in () thingies, which I cannot think of the name for right now.  Keet is the name if it's only by me! If the title has * in front of it, it's based on a true story! If it has ** next to it, it's based on a dream I had.  And if it has *** next to it, it's just a cool idea for a story.  ;)

**The Powers(Keet):
Kylie's test is to kill a demon.  Kylie doesn't believe in demons.  Luckily, she's got help.  Her sister, and her new found friend, and protector, and her protector's siblings, are going to help her find her lost sisters, and her mother.  But first she's got to kill the "Out-law" demon.  Kylie, was an orphan most of her life, and until meeting her father, didn't believe in magic, vampires, zombies, demons, elves, ghosts, or "protectors".  And she hadn't even heard of Zompires! Then her Dad came along and changed her, and her sibling's lives forever.

**Kreature World(Maybelle Leah Kelly):
Best friends Kylie Black, Maria Luna, Bella Nell, and Mae Nell, discovered a new planet! They call it kreature world, as their club is The Kreature Club.  These four homeschooling kids, build a high-tech rocket, and fly to outer-space to land on their new planet.  What they don't expect is the people living on the planet! People originally from earth, who now live on this new planet with odd creatures called Kreatures.  The girls get their own kreatures, but since they did not swear to live on kreature world until they turned 15, and became adults on kreature world, their kreatures ended deformed and evil! The girls have to save kreature world from the Kreatures of evil!

***Sledders(Maybelle Leah Kelly):
Maya, a Siberian husky, is tranquilized, then wakes up in a wooden crate! There must be some mistake! But no, her former owners sold her to a man starting a sled dog team.  Maya falls in love with a cat named Blueberry, and adopts two wolf puppies! Then Juneau, and Star come along.  Maya falls for Juneau, and Blueberry falls for Star, immediately! As these dogs are joined by others, they face angry bears, huge wolf packs, and long, hard races!

*The Rodents(Keet):
Adele and Xavier are having their first litter of baby mice! When only one of the litter survives, they try to protect him with their lives! The colony of mice must leave their home when a cat finds where they live.  Zosimo Mortyss, "Survivor of Death" is allowed to walk, in between his parents, though his eyes are not open yet.  Then a cat finds the moving colony, and his parents run in different directions! Zosimo gets left behind.  Then a human girl finds him, and takes care of him.  After a few days without his mother, Zosimo dies, partially from dispare at not being able to find his mother, and partially because the human doesn't know enough about how to care for baby mice.  Then, Zosimo comes back to life, when Adele gives birth a second time.  A story of birth, life, learning, death, and re-birth.

***The Unnatural(Keet):
Kelsey Atiya, has been on her own in a Zombie Apocalypse for six months.  Then, a pair of twin boys find where she lives.  Kelsey "adopts" the boys, and trains them how to survive.  Later on, Jack, and Peter realize that Kelsey is their older sister, who had been kidnapped, only weeks before they were born.  The kidnappers were not able to have child, so they took Kelsey, and raised the girl as their own. 

***Chestnut(Keet):
A girl with an odd name gets a puppy for her 11th birthday.  "Water-lily" (I started these when I was young
-.-) names the puppy Chestnut, and they go on kinds of adventures!

***The Wolves(has an author name, which I do not remember!):
Leader, Forest, Star, and Sniffs are kicked out of their too large, and still growing pack.  They start their own pack.  Leader (he is given this name when they start their new pack), and Forest give birth to 3 children.  Bluestar, Bear, and Moose.  Star's children are all still born, except one.  Blackmoon.  Blackmoon, and Bluestar eventually take over the pack when their parents die, and give birth to their own children.  Moss, Rain, and Fern.  (Moss is my wolf charater, and Rain is Meep's)  The adult wolves bring the pups out for their first hunting lessons, while hunting the pack meets three loners, who become part of the pack.  Then the pack meets a rival pack, in battle. 

***The Treasure Hunters(Keet):About two kids, Marie, and John, who get taken by pirates while on a whale-watch with their family! The pirates take them to an island nobody has ever heard about.  The island has all kinds of weird creatures on it.  The kids meet the people who live on the island, and are told amazing stories.  The kids learn they have to find a treasure, otherwise the whole island might die! It's a race between the pirates, and the twins, the question is, Who will win?

***Midnight Shadows(Keet):
A bunch of horror short stories! Not very scary, in the style of "The Midnight Library" and "Tales from the Shadows".  (No, I did not use the two names and put them together, I swear!)

***Silly Stories(Keet):Traditional children's stories re-made! Little Red Riding Hood becomes The Little Red Sending Box in Silly stories!

**The Dog's Hero(Keet!):Dreamer is a dog who is owned by a fake cop.  Dreamer got his name because he always dreamed of having a nice home, and so, he was always a nice dog.  Dreamer was severely abused by his owner.  One day his owner was "investigating" a crime scene.  When he went to places of crimes he dresses like a police officer, then he snuck in, and stole the people's valuables.  One day a little girl caught the man in his act, and Dreamer was taken away.  But Dreamer was going to the pound, not the animal shelter, the pound.  The little girl couldn't bare to let Dreamer go, and there be a possiblity of him dying, so the girl requested that Dreamer live with her.  And Dreamer's dream finally came true!! :) (This is a DREAM I had, get it?  Dreamer, Dream, haha!)

So much for me trying to post every day in 2011! At least in Janury, because with competitions, and recitals, and dance classes, and music classes, and stuff I wouldn't be able to post EVERYDAY..... Oh well.  But I've missed a few days now... Mostly because I've been busy.  Here is another AMAZING, MUST READ POST!

Animals: My fish scared me a few days ago, I thought he was dead! But he's swimming around behind me right now, so I'm good. ;)
Ballet: I'm doing three ballet classes this year encluding pointe!

Books: I like books!! Later I will count my books, and post the number on this blog! I know I own over 222 books.  :)
Comic: I'm only interested in Zombie, and Vampire comics!
Dance: I'm doing a lot of dance this year! Three ballet classes, two jazz classes, one musical theater class, one tap class, and I'm on my dance school's competition team! I do about eleven and a half hours of dance every week.
Games: I am currently interested in only one game, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, though I hate the Harry Potter books.  Actually not true, I liked 1-4.  :D
Gardening: It's winter-time now, there are no gardens....
Holidays: I'm going to post a knitting challenge on Knit and Adventure soon! It's a Valentine's day challenge <3
Knitting: See above. XD
Kreature World: Kreature World awaits.......... Now on Kreature World, anybody between the ages of 12 and 15 are Zerinas! (Or if your ceramony goes badly Zarins, but that's another story!) So I am a Zerina! :3
Music: I have figured out what genre of music I like, it's not punk rock like I thought! It's Punk pop!
Pets: I have a lot of pets! We are also pet-sitting my older sister's rabbit, Jay.  Yup, we gave her this rabbit...

The Rodents.......................

A new series I was inspired to write because of the song "ZZZZZ" by The Cab.  About.... suspense....... rodents! The first book is about mice.  One mouse in particular.  It's about Adele, and Xavier, who give birth to five children, all of which die, EXCEPT Zosimo.  I know you'll recognize that name from The Powers.  But Zosimo Cethin, and Nolan Mortyss got their names, well half of each of their names, from a baby mouse I found in my closet, I took care of the mouse for a few days, but he was too young and ended up dying.  :(  Though my sisters hated it, I called the baby Zosimo Mortyss.  A.K.A., Zo.  I had Zo when my favorite song was ZZZZZ.  I didn't know at the time that if you got your scent on a wild baby rodent that the mother would kill or abandon the baby.  I picked him up so I didn't hurt him.  Yes, I picked up the baby mouse with out even really thinking about it.  A wild mouse.  That I found in my closet.  I DIDN'T WANT THE CAT TO GET HIM WHILE I GOT MY MOM!!! GOSH!!! And I didn't want to attract dog or cat attention by calling her.  So I showed him to her.  You have to heat the babies before they'll eat, and Zo got too cold, and hungry....  AND we fed him COW'S milk, which hurts baby mice.  I apparently did everything wrong, but I learned from it.  And all this will be in my new book, only in a more child-friendly way in order to make it a good story, and we don't have people complaining to me for making their kid cry themselves to sleep every night because of what happened to little Zo! :D I plan for this to be my first finished book.  One part of ZZZZZ made me decide to write this new book:

Well, that's the part that inspired my new book.  THANK YOU THE CAB FOR THE AMAZING IDEA! :) YOU'RE MY FAVORITE BAND, ONLY SLIGHTLY MORE BECAUSE OF THIS! Anyway, I highly doubt anybody from the band reads my blog, but if they do then they'll see that, and be happy. ;)  So, that's it! I just figured I put that on meh blog, that way I won't forget any of that information.  That's part of the reason I blog right there.  :P

TZH (The Zombie Hunters)

Hey! I have a Comic recomendation for you! It's called The Zombie Hunters.  Or, TZH.  It's about......... Zombie hunters......... And...... Zombies....... And..... well, you get the point.   I think.  Anyway, it's coming out as a graphic novel soon and I really want it! They also have t-shirts with the "infected" Symbol on them (if you don't get that, read the comic...) that I want.  It's really cool, Updates every Monday and sometime Thursday! So that's just one of the two...... Zombie comics (any comics really) that I've read recently.  The other one is called "My Living Dead Girl" that one is also a book, but the comic on the internet is soooooooo dumb, that I really don't want that book...... Neither does Nightfall.  My friend Nightfall is also reading these comics with me, and agrees with me about both.  Well that's it! Just wanted to let you know about that AMAZING comic!! XP

I have a recommendation for a book series that you might want to read! It called "The Missing".  It's about these important kids in history that get pulled into the 21st century by futuristic time travelers.  One of those kids, was Virginia Dare, the first English child born in America.  The first book (FOUND) the kids all find out they are missing children from the past.  In the second (SENT) Jonah, and his "sister" (Jonah is one of the adopted kids from the past) Kathrine, help Jonah's friend Chip, and Chip brother from the past Alex, get back to their home in 1400s England.  Then after their mission in England all the kids are allowed to go home, to the 21st century.  And in the third book (SABOTAGED) Jonah and Kathrine, have to help Andrea, or Virginia Dare, fix her time.  This series is fairly new, and SABOTAGED came out only a few days before I published this post, maybe a few weeks!! Very good series, exciting, plus you learn some history while reading!! I absolutely HATE history, but this series has gotten me interested in historical time periods other than slavery times.  <_<  And Egypt, and the Titanic >_>   Anywayz..... Good series, you should check it out!! That's it!! :D

VaMpIrE Books........................

I'm studying Vampires for school this year. I'm almost done my first project (a map of Europe), and I'm reading a book called "How to be a vampire". It's a cool book. I've also read some other series that are very good, and that I recommend. 1 being the most recent I read(all vampire series!!):

1. The Vampire Dairies (close in plot to twilight)
2. The Twilight Saga (close in plot to Vampire Dairies o.O)
3. Cirque Du Freak (the Darren Shane books)
4. The Mortal Instruments (not about vampires, but has vampires in it)

I will ask if I can plan a Vampire party for sometime later this year, before I finish my Vampire studies. *cough* Halloween *cough* :D

The Powers, book update!! Fall Poem!

That's my fall poem :3 Like it? Anyways, I had to re-start writing The Powers because I ran out of free-trial in the program I had been using before, sooooo, I restarted. And here's part of the prologue!!! :)

Even now I shudder to think about the horrible sound I heard. "Kylie..." I heard someone whisper in my ear, "Kylie, do you really want to go home? Walking all that way could be dangerous for a 14-year-old girl. And you have a surprise waiting for you at your home, and I highly doubt you want to find your surprise alone, Kylie." You might think, Okay...... And that's scary because......?? It might not seem scary to you, but you didn't hear it. No more inturruping, this is the part of the story where there can be no more question....

The powers book update

I'M ALMOST DONE CHAPTER ONE!! I think I'm on my last page for chapter one. Mae Kelley, just appeared, shes a "Ghost" well not really, she's trapped, a prisoner for the evil guy...... She's there in spirit, basically shes not in her body, she in the house with, Bella Kelley, Maria Kelley, and Kylie Kelley. And their Dad is there, he's the grumpy ghost who gives Kylie powers in the Prologue. Well, I typed up three or four pages yesterday, and I'm about to type some more :p
Buh-bye!!!

Kreature World Awaits........

Hey Everybody! Kreature world awaits you.

The Maybelle group, has the Saturday routine, for "The Kreature Club"!! My Dad works at the "Old Hollco Game Warden Center". Which is right next to the Dance studio. On Saturday morning "the Kreature Club" walks(with my Dad as far as the Dance Studio) to Dance, then at lunch-time, we go over to the Pizzaria & Ice cream parlor, which is next to the dance studio. Then, after lunch, we go to the Library for the Afternoon. In the book, it is Saturday morning, that night we were going to sleep in the Abandoned Cabins!!! And test our High-Tech Rocket for the science fair!!!! Here is the line in the end of the last book in the first set, there are going to be four versions of the last book, mine is called "Kylie's Courage", The last thing it says in the book is,

"We all opened our eyes. 'Could Kreature world had all been a dream?' I thought. I looked at the others, I could tell, they were thinking the same thing. Then the gifts from the people of Kreature world, started to beep. I looked at the others, and knew, we were all thinking the same thing, Time for the next Adventure in Kreature World. I smiled, and said to the others, 'Kreature World Awaits us, once again..........'"

Sledders

Hey Readers!! I thought you might like to know a bit about the other books I'm writing. I'll try to post everyday untill Rainpaw's B-day 2/13/2010. That's when my poll ends. Today is about sledders........ Enter the world of Sledders........


Sledders is a book about sled dogs. One of my dogs is named Maya, she is the first dog that John buys. John is buying huskey's and Malimutes to start a sled dog team. His dream is to be in the Iditarod. We have multiple sets of books, one is called the big race. Maya adopts two wolf pups. Snowball and Snowflake. Tangleface, Nightfall, and Foxtail, are also writing this
series as well as, Kreature World, we call ourselves: Maybelle Leah Kelly. Maya falls in love with one of the four cats in the first book, Blueberry. I May have found a way to post on my blog more often!!!

But, it would be almost intirely about my books, it would be book updates. That's why I put a new poll up. Do you think I should change my blog?? Please partisapate in the poll. It would be a big help!! For anyone who thinks it's a good Idea, this is a sample.




My Friend, Tangleface, and I, made our addresses in our series "Kreature World". I live at: 51, Caramoss Ave, old hollco, ME. Tangleface(In the book her name is Bella), lives at: 56 Caramoss Ave, with Foxtail(Mae in the book). And Nightfall(Maria), lives at #52. I made a map of all Kreature world, Tangleface made a map of Old Hollco. In the book the "Kreature Club" discovers a new planet, builds a high-tech rocket, and goes there. There are people on the planet, they have things called "Kreatures", the friends get Kreatures, and since that did not swear to stay on Kreature world until they are 18, their kreatures end up odd, and Deformed. Worst, their Kreatures end up Evil. They have to stop them. The kids have Super humen powers, that are unlocked when they go to Kreature world. That they use to defeat The Skull(my Kreature), Toxic(maria's Kreature), Flamester(Bella's Kreature), and Wet-demon(Mae's kreature). The Kreature steal and hatch other Kreature eggs.

I like Books!

I like to read. In my room I have a nice size bookshelf almost full of books.

This is one of my TONS of favorite books. The ghost hunters series.(it's kinda creepy)

Here is another one of my favorite book series, The animal Ark series.(it's about animals. Oh, sorry, did you guess that already?)

This is the warrior cats series! (If anybody who is reading this knows me, you also know what to get my for Christmas:)

This is a series called, The midnight librry. you may have heard about it. on the back it says: 'Don't panic, On second thought do panic, Welcome to the midnight library.'
This is a series called, Jigsaw Jones. I am in to creepy books, right now. And movies. And, I'm no longer easily scared:P So, if you ever try to scare me, I have great hearing, sight, and smell. So beware. I also have a favorite book called, Wait 'till helen comes. It was so good, I cried when I finished it....... Have you ever read a book like that?

My Books

OK, So I have a picture of a dog, what, you might ask me does that have to do with My books? Well, me and some friends, are writing a book series called "The Sledders" So we do not confuse the readers we made up an Author name, it is "Maybelle L. Kelly". Those books are about, Yep, you guessed it, Sled dogs. I know what you're thinking, OK Enough with the dogs! But, This dog is not the Star of a series that i'm writing, his name is Cody Jae, but he will work. the two stars of the series are, an 11 year-old girl called "Tiger Lilly", and her dog called "Shiloh". They go on all kinds of adventures together. It is a young kids book, for ages, let's just say, 6 mo - 7 years, I think those ages and maybe older will like these books.

I know you are thinking, What's with the forest? I am writing a book about wolves.
