NaNoWriMo, and Kylie's fish.

So let's face it, I'm not great about blogging.  I'll get into it, and be great about it for a while then, oops! It's been two months since I last blogged!

This month I'm doing NaNoWriMo (national novel writer's month).  I'm finishing The Powers: Kylie's Test for it.  I just decided that Kylie ends up in their new house, and get three fish tanks! Two two gallon tanks, each has a male Betta in it, and one fifty gallon tank community tank! She has four female Bettas, four male, and two female Guppies, several Neon tetra, and a Suckerfish in the community tank. 

Her Bettas are:
King, a black, and blue bodied male Crowntail Betta, with blue, and red fins. 
Blaze, a bright red male Halfmoon Betta.
Queenie, a female Betta with more or less the same coloring as King.
Moonshadow (Shadow for short), a black female Betta.
Solar Flare (Flare for short), a red female Betta with orange fins.
Lavender (Lavy for short), a female Betta that is multiple shades of purple.

Her Guppies are:
Shade, a black male Guppy.
River, a male fancy Guppy, with a black body, a blue head, and blue fins with darker blue spots on them, and black on the tips.
Pine, another male fancy Guppy, has the same pattern as River, but he's green, and black instead of blue, and black.
Apollo, is an orange male Guppy with red fins.
Princess, is a female (obviously?) Guppy that is all pink, except for the tips of her fins, which are purple.
Zara, is a female fancy Guppy with the same pattern as Pine, and River, except she's red, not blue, or green.

Her suckerfish:
Muddy, is a brown suckerfish, with dark spots.  Gender unknown.

And the neon tetras are unnamed due to lack of difference between them.

So that's what Kylie is up to! Naming, and tending to her fish!

So, a line explained.  A line from "Kylie's Test".

THE LINE:

“The good reason to trust me? You just passed the first test! 'Instinctive, trusting, strength/courage, independent, curious'. Those are the first things on the list!”

THE EXPLAINATION:
Kylie doesn't know whether or not to trust Isha when he says that there are some tests she has to take.  She asks him why she should trust him, and not her instincts, that was the answer he gave.  Each personality trait stands for an element:
Instinctive - Air (because the wind(or air) goes wherever, but not on a set course)

Trusting - Water (Because water moves along the path that was made for it (like a river), and very rarely leaves it's path)

Strength/Courage - Earth (Earth is strong, and with some strength comes courage)

Independent - Fire (Fire goes wherever it feels, and is very difficult to stop)

Curious - Spirit (Because with curiousity comes learning, and discovering, which leads to spirit (at least in this story)). 

"So far," Isha tells Kylie, "you are all of the above." 
Kylie is trusting her instincts telling Isha she doesn't want to go with him. 
She was showing her curiousity by asking about what he said. 
She's trusting because she agreed to talk to her foster mother about her buying a house for just the six kids.  She's independent because she likes things her way, but she's a good leader also. 
She's "strong" (Stubborn) when somebody says something highly against a plan of hers, and she brave enough to stand up for herself. 
But she also knows when not to stand up for herself, at least mostly.  She tries to know when enough is enough, though she fails quite often, and gets into trouble, especially when she accidentally says something, even something she would never even dream of saying!

"And, I hadn't wanted to talk back, but getting into trouble was, well, getting into trouble was what I did best."

The Powers *Interview with Kylie Black*

Q.  How did you feel when you discovered your powers?
A. Me?  I went into instant shock.  Isha told me by saying I was't human! Then told me how I wasn't human later.

Q. When did you meet Isha?
A. Well first in a dream, or a memory apparently.  Then in a mall, and later that day at my house!

Q. Why did you let Isha talk you into asking Myra to buy a house for you and your siblings?!
A. I wanted answers, no.  I needed answers! And my sisters and I had been trying to get away from Myra for a long time, Isha just gave me the key to getting us out of that house!

Q. What is your favorite part about having powers?
A. I don't know.  Probably the feeling of control, like I can control things, and I can control what happens to me.  I hate when I'm not in control of my life. 

Q. What's a song that means the most to you, about your powers and stuff.
A. There are a few songs that mean a lot to me with my powers. 
I'll Run, by The Cab always makes me think of the time that I tried to run away from everything, and Isha came with me. 
Cave In, by Owl City reminds me of when I first got my powers, or found out about them. 
I Gotchoo, by Bowling For Soup (bfs) makes me remember the time when we were in a town, and couldn't buy anything - not even food - but we had each othe, so we didn't care!
On Top of The World, by Boys Like Girls (blg) makes me think of when Isha brought us into the clouds to keep us all safe!
This City is Contagious, by The Cab makes me think of when I thought up the hidden-worlder city! Which we hide so no humans can see it, only hidden-worlders can! And, unfortunately, demons, vampires, zombies, ghosts, etc.

Q. What is the most important thing who hope to use your powers for?
A. Easy, I want to destroy the darkest lord.  Even though he will never be gone forever.  The world needs a balance of good and evil to work properly, the hidden-worlders have to keep the good part.  The darkest lord doesn't get this, he wants the world to be run his way.  If everybody in the world could help us hidden-worlders somehow we'd fix things to the way they were before the world needed hidden-worlders! But the humans cannot break the control of the demons completely, or, if they do, they can't break it completely for very long.

The Triplets

Since Tuesday is a book update day I'm going to tell you about the triplets!
Kylie Avlynn Black (Graceful Bird's Shadow)
Maria Ivory Luna (Bitter Cream-colored Moon)
Bella Ebony Nell (Beautiful Black Light)
Their parents, Miliana, and Bennett, named them for the name, not the meaning.  Unlike their protector's parents... Anyway.  I am re-writing the book by the way.  I was reading some "writing tips" and one of the tips was "Write, then re-write!" And I was having a hard time with The Powers.  It wasn't writing, right.  :P
So the stuff about the triplets is the new stuff.  They've changed a bit, and WOW, you should see how much the protectors changed! Except Zo.... He's pretty much the same...

Kylie's favorite colors are Black and Red.  And getting into trouble is basically what she does best! Well, other than killing demons. ;)  She dyes her hair partially red on her 14th birthday, even though their foster mother didn't want her to.  She walked away from her sisters, and out of a store (in a mall), to talk to Isha, even though she had never met him, she had simply had a dream about him.  Then he goes to her house later that night, though nobody invited him.  Together Isha, and Kylie are more trouble then any of their family members thought was possible.  Though Isha is sometimes annoyingly cautious, and protective. 

Maria's favorite colors are Orange, and Blue.  Maria just likes having fun.  And is always teasing Kylie.  Maria hate their foster mother, Myra, as much as Kylie does! And as much as Myra hates her.  Though Myra hates them she homeschools them, and buys them whatever they want, as long as it keep them away from her she's happy! When Maria first meets Zosimo, it's a recipe for DISASTER! But after a while they begin to act like friends.  More like twins, actually... Maria never thought Kylie could be anymore trouble than she is alone, but then Isha came along, and he's as bad as she is! Zosimo is annoying, and sometimes swears(No swear words are actually in the book!), and does bad stuff like that, but he can be nice, and as overly-protective as Isha is.

Bella's favorite colors are Pink, and Purple.  Bella is quiet, or so you think, until you get to know her! Bella can be the life of the party, or the shy little girl in the corner, talking to no one.  Just depends on her mood really. ;)  Bella hates Myra, because Myra hates Bella's siblings, but Myra loves Bella, because Bella loves her bedroom, which is pink, and purple.  Bella, and Elaine get along very well! Elaine is a little girl who loves reading, writing, drawing, painting, dancing, and singing, and Bella is a girl who likes all of that except singing.  Meaning she likes reading, writing, drawing, painting, and dancing.  Bella is more protective of Elaine is, then Elaine of Bella, even though Elaine is the protector!

So, there's some information about the triplet for ya! Well, I'm afraid the hidden-worlders need my help!! Especially the triplets!

Holy cow!

It's been sooo long since I posted!! Yes! I know! 4 whole days!!!

I am re-writing The Powers book! From the beginning, the girls are now at the mall during their 14th birthday, where Kylie meets Isha for the first time, and Bella, and Maria have some sisterly (annoying) assumptions about Kylie, and Isha when they start talking for a long time as if they already knew each other.  (Kylie had a dream with Isha in it before the mall trip.)  They are also living in a foster home, which they hate.  And their foster Mother hates all of them, except Bella.  Kylie also dyes her "bangs" (as in the picture I posted a while ago) Bright red, even though their foster mother doesn't approve of hair dye.

Interview wihth M.L. (Maria Luna)

1. Q: What are your favorite colors, and why?
A. WHY ARE U TALKING TO ME?!?!?

2. Q. Why don't you like people talking to you?
A. BECAUSE U SCARE ME

3. Q. How did you escape the Darkest Lord when he took You, and Bella?
A. I punched him in the face and he threw me out of the van. *cough* sketchy WHITE van.....

4. Q. Did Bella protest when he threw you?
A. Duh

5. Q. So she wasn't under his control anymore?
A. Not at that moment, I think she recognized me..

6. Q. How quickly after you were thrown out of van did Kylie and the protectors find you?
A. About a half hour.

7. Q.(from Maria) Why do u take so long to think??
A. (from Keet) Hey! I'm asking the questions!!

8.Q. Not for looong!!!
A. So what, you're going to interview me next or something?

9. Q. Why do you ask too many questions?
A. Because this is an interview.

10. Q. Back to the interview, what was Zosimo's reaction to finding you, alive, and unhypnotized?
A. He was Happy!  He actually hugged me, I was kinda surprised that he was acting so emotional.

11. Q. Last question, do you have any clue what Isha did to Kylie?
A. o.O

And very few people will ever know the answer to the last question! Until they read my book that is..... >_>
SNEAK PEAK FROM "The Powers: Kylie's Test":

I looked straight into Isha's eyes. His eyes were orange. Blood-shot, and his eyes were orange! “Elaine, what's wrong with Isha?” The bond I had with Isha pulsed with rage, and darkness. “Ella?!” Nolan, and Zosimo ran up. “Not again!” Nolan said. “What do you mean 'again'?! What's wrong with Isha?!” I shouted at the two boys. “It's time, Kylie. Today is the day you die,” Isha said, his eyes as wide as possible. “What is he talking about?!” I screeched. “He's under the Darkest Lord's control!” Zosimo screamed at me. Mae ran up then, having heard our screaming at each other. Well mostly my screaming at everybody else. She had heard the last, and most important thing any of us had said though. “He's under the Darkest Lord's control” was the only thing Mae had heard. Her eyes went wide, “Who is?” She asked. I just pointed to Isha, still to surprised to even speak. Elaine was still whispering to her brother, asking him to come back. It seemed to be slowly working, I could feel the shadow disappearing through the bond. It was working too slowly! I got down on my hands and knees to help Elaine. Ella smiled at me encouragingly. “Isha, please come back! We need you. I need you! Isha!” The darkness was almost completely gone. His eyes were kind of yellow-green, and the orange still fading. He moaned again, and rolled away from us. Then, an ear-piercing shriek came from my protector.

The Books I'm writing!! *IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER!!*

Alphabetical order..... Haha yeah right! Anyway.  These are the series of books I'm writing! The descriptions are about the first books, though I am not adding the book titles.  The author name is going to be in () thingies, which I cannot think of the name for right now.  Keet is the name if it's only by me! If the title has * in front of it, it's based on a true story! If it has ** next to it, it's based on a dream I had.  And if it has *** next to it, it's just a cool idea for a story.  ;)

**The Powers(Keet):
Kylie's test is to kill a demon.  Kylie doesn't believe in demons.  Luckily, she's got help.  Her sister, and her new found friend, and protector, and her protector's siblings, are going to help her find her lost sisters, and her mother.  But first she's got to kill the "Out-law" demon.  Kylie, was an orphan most of her life, and until meeting her father, didn't believe in magic, vampires, zombies, demons, elves, ghosts, or "protectors".  And she hadn't even heard of Zompires! Then her Dad came along and changed her, and her sibling's lives forever.

**Kreature World(Maybelle Leah Kelly):
Best friends Kylie Black, Maria Luna, Bella Nell, and Mae Nell, discovered a new planet! They call it kreature world, as their club is The Kreature Club.  These four homeschooling kids, build a high-tech rocket, and fly to outer-space to land on their new planet.  What they don't expect is the people living on the planet! People originally from earth, who now live on this new planet with odd creatures called Kreatures.  The girls get their own kreatures, but since they did not swear to live on kreature world until they turned 15, and became adults on kreature world, their kreatures ended deformed and evil! The girls have to save kreature world from the Kreatures of evil!

***Sledders(Maybelle Leah Kelly):
Maya, a Siberian husky, is tranquilized, then wakes up in a wooden crate! There must be some mistake! But no, her former owners sold her to a man starting a sled dog team.  Maya falls in love with a cat named Blueberry, and adopts two wolf puppies! Then Juneau, and Star come along.  Maya falls for Juneau, and Blueberry falls for Star, immediately! As these dogs are joined by others, they face angry bears, huge wolf packs, and long, hard races!

*The Rodents(Keet):
Adele and Xavier are having their first litter of baby mice! When only one of the litter survives, they try to protect him with their lives! The colony of mice must leave their home when a cat finds where they live.  Zosimo Mortyss, "Survivor of Death" is allowed to walk, in between his parents, though his eyes are not open yet.  Then a cat finds the moving colony, and his parents run in different directions! Zosimo gets left behind.  Then a human girl finds him, and takes care of him.  After a few days without his mother, Zosimo dies, partially from dispare at not being able to find his mother, and partially because the human doesn't know enough about how to care for baby mice.  Then, Zosimo comes back to life, when Adele gives birth a second time.  A story of birth, life, learning, death, and re-birth.

***The Unnatural(Keet):
Kelsey Atiya, has been on her own in a Zombie Apocalypse for six months.  Then, a pair of twin boys find where she lives.  Kelsey "adopts" the boys, and trains them how to survive.  Later on, Jack, and Peter realize that Kelsey is their older sister, who had been kidnapped, only weeks before they were born.  The kidnappers were not able to have child, so they took Kelsey, and raised the girl as their own. 

***Chestnut(Keet):
A girl with an odd name gets a puppy for her 11th birthday.  "Water-lily" (I started these when I was young
-.-) names the puppy Chestnut, and they go on kinds of adventures!

***The Wolves(has an author name, which I do not remember!):
Leader, Forest, Star, and Sniffs are kicked out of their too large, and still growing pack.  They start their own pack.  Leader (he is given this name when they start their new pack), and Forest give birth to 3 children.  Bluestar, Bear, and Moose.  Star's children are all still born, except one.  Blackmoon.  Blackmoon, and Bluestar eventually take over the pack when their parents die, and give birth to their own children.  Moss, Rain, and Fern.  (Moss is my wolf charater, and Rain is Meep's)  The adult wolves bring the pups out for their first hunting lessons, while hunting the pack meets three loners, who become part of the pack.  Then the pack meets a rival pack, in battle. 

***The Treasure Hunters(Keet):About two kids, Marie, and John, who get taken by pirates while on a whale-watch with their family! The pirates take them to an island nobody has ever heard about.  The island has all kinds of weird creatures on it.  The kids meet the people who live on the island, and are told amazing stories.  The kids learn they have to find a treasure, otherwise the whole island might die! It's a race between the pirates, and the twins, the question is, Who will win?

***Midnight Shadows(Keet):
A bunch of horror short stories! Not very scary, in the style of "The Midnight Library" and "Tales from the Shadows".  (No, I did not use the two names and put them together, I swear!)

***Silly Stories(Keet):Traditional children's stories re-made! Little Red Riding Hood becomes The Little Red Sending Box in Silly stories!

**The Dog's Hero(Keet!):Dreamer is a dog who is owned by a fake cop.  Dreamer got his name because he always dreamed of having a nice home, and so, he was always a nice dog.  Dreamer was severely abused by his owner.  One day his owner was "investigating" a crime scene.  When he went to places of crimes he dresses like a police officer, then he snuck in, and stole the people's valuables.  One day a little girl caught the man in his act, and Dreamer was taken away.  But Dreamer was going to the pound, not the animal shelter, the pound.  The little girl couldn't bare to let Dreamer go, and there be a possiblity of him dying, so the girl requested that Dreamer live with her.  And Dreamer's dream finally came true!! :) (This is a DREAM I had, get it?  Dreamer, Dream, haha!)

So much for me trying to post every day in 2011! At least in Janury, because with competitions, and recitals, and dance classes, and music classes, and stuff I wouldn't be able to post EVERYDAY..... Oh well.  But I've missed a few days now... Mostly because I've been busy.  Here is another AMAZING, MUST READ POST!

Animals: My fish scared me a few days ago, I thought he was dead! But he's swimming around behind me right now, so I'm good. ;)
Ballet: I'm doing three ballet classes this year encluding pointe!
BANANA: BaNaNa!
Books: I like books!! Later I will count my books, and post the number on this blog! I know I own over 222 books.  :)
Comic: I'm only interested in Zombie, and Vampire comics!
Dance: I'm doing a lot of dance this year! Three ballet classes, two jazz classes, one musical theater class, one tap class, and I'm on my dance school's competition team! I do about eleven and a half hours of dance every week.
Games: I am currently interested in only one game, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, though I hate the Harry Potter books.  Actually not true, I liked 1-4.  :D
Gardening: It's winter-time now, there are no gardens....
Holidays: I'm going to post a knitting challenge on Knit and Adventure soon! It's a Valentine's day challenge <3
Knitting: See above. XD
Kreature World: Kreature World awaits.......... Now on Kreature World, anybody between the ages of 12 and 15 are Zerinas! (Or if your ceramony goes badly Zarins, but that's another story!) So I am a Zerina! :3
Music: I have figured out what genre of music I like, it's not punk rock like I thought! It's Punk pop!
Pets: I have a lot of pets! We are also pet-sitting my older sister's rabbit, Jay.  Yup, we gave her this rabbit...

The Powers pics :)

I'm drawing some pictures right now for The Powers.  So far I've drawn the triplets.  The pictures look amazing!! Probably the best pictures I've ever drawn! Though Kylie looks goth.... I have a part of the story:
"Why do you insist on wearing black and red clothes all the time?!"  Isha asked, annoyed by my clothing choice.  "They're my favorite colors! Before Bella, Maria, and I had names we had nicknames! Blackie was mine because I have black hair, and always wore, and still wear, black! Black stuck with me, though Bella dropped 'Choco', and Maria dropped 'Flame'," I replied.  "Your nicknames, before you choose real names, were Choco, Flame, and Blackie?" "Yup!" "I always knew you three were insane...." "Hey!"

:) Kylie and Isha fight a lot I noticed.  Isha is convinced that Kylie should wear the colors of her powers, but she likes black and red over dark blue, and teal.  :D

The Powers... *Meet the protectors!*

Hey! This is The Powers update! I'm going to tell you a bit about the Protectors.  Kylie's the main character in the first book, so let's start with her protector:

Name: Isha Yamanu (Ish-ah Yah-mon-oo)
Name Meaning: Protector of the Hidden
Power: Earth!
Three lines from book:

Chapter 3.

The triplets are in for a big surprise this chapter! As they take on Vampires, and Zombies, the darkest lord makes plans on how to get their Dad back.  And how to keep them from saving the world.

The Powers, book update!! Fall Poem!

When the summer goes,

And Leaves start to fall,

Bird fly south, except the crows,

Before comes the snowbanks, tall.

That's my fall poem :3 Like it? Anyways, I had to re-start writing The Powers because I ran out of free-trial in the program I had been using before, sooooo, I restarted. And here's part of the prologue!!! :)

Even now I shudder to think about the horrible sound I heard. "Kylie..." I heard someone whisper in my ear, "Kylie, do you really want to go home? Walking all that way could be dangerous for a 14-year-old girl. And you have a surprise waiting for you at your home, and I highly doubt you want to find your surprise alone, Kylie." You might think, Okay...... And that's scary because......?? It might not seem scary to you, but you didn't hear it. No more inturruping, this is the part of the story where there can be no more question....

That's the end of the prologue. I'm writing Chapter 2: Mind-control is helpful. Right now. That's an exciting chapter ;) Well that's it!

The powers book update

I'M ALMOST DONE CHAPTER ONE!! I think I'm on my last page for chapter one. Mae Kelley, just appeared, shes a "Ghost" well not really, she's trapped, a prisoner for the evil guy...... She's there in spirit, basically shes not in her body, she in the house with, Bella Kelley, Maria Kelley, and Kylie Kelley. And their Dad is there, he's the grumpy ghost who gives Kylie powers in the Prologue. Well, I typed up three or four pages yesterday, and I'm about to type some more :p
Buh-bye!!!

My worst nightmare, or my best dream? I'm still trying to decide. It was fine until I had to light....... Never mind, let me start from the beginning.....



That's the start of my new series of books, The Powers. The characters have the same names as in kreature world. But, there is a new villain. Comment if you think there should be a poll to decide what his name is, and say what you think his name should be. Book 1 is called, Kylie's Test. Book 2 is going to be called, Bella's Change. And book 3 is going to be, Maria's Miracle. I Kylie's test, I have to figure out how to unlock our Super-human powers. In the book I do get slightly upset, when we can't use our powers..... But we figure out, we don't need just powers to fight this new villain, we need: Each other, normal human objects, and our intelligence. In my dream(did I mention this series was inspired by a dream? Two dreams in fact..) the villain was Saint Dane(see Bobby Pendragon by D.J. MacHale). In Bella's Change, Bella needs to figure out how to get to the Sky Village, because in order to save the world from the villain we need to save the Sky people. And in Maria's Miracle we: Unlock our powers completely, and defeat the villain, a new villain arises, but that is a whole new series. I don't know what the new series will be called, yet, But I will figure that out when I get to it. Please comment names for the villain. Thanks!
